It’s time to get out of pain, and get moving with strength and joy! Loaded yoga asana is one of the most efficient ways to safely gain strength, lose unwanted fat, and develop functional fitness. Many clients find that their pain completely heals due to strengthening formally underutilized muscle groups, and breaking up the bound fascia.
All programs will utilize a mix of all modalities, from functional fitness to steel mace vinyasa, meeting you where you are to take you where you want to go. Whether you’re a flexible yogi looking to gain strength, an inactive desk worker tired of not moving, or a muscle bound weight guru looking to gain flexibility, I have a workout plan that can help you reach your goals.
You deserve to move with joy, strength and flexibility. You deserve to climb mountains all day and dance all night!
Mind
Mindfulness: Managing stress and developing the right mindset are critical when it comes to making changes in your life. Through meditation and specific journaling prompts and mindset coaching, I support you during the journey of re-wiring your brain. Soon good habits feel natural, your body feels stronger, and you feel more like your self than you have in a long time.
Somatics is the “felt sense”, what our our body feels and knows. Through our work together an emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of that internal knowledge and paying attention to what your body is telling you. We will work to strengthen our awareness of our mindbody, as they aren’t separate.

Join the only Steel Mace Vinyasa Class in Albuquerque, and discover the most comprehensive, heart-centered workout ever.
We will learn the basic mechanics of the steel mace and begin to restore primal movement patterns, such as pull, push, swing, twist, lunge and squat. The uneven weight of the mace causes all the small muscles in the shoulder girdle and lats to come into play, balancing out many often underutilized muscles, causing pain to decrease and mobility to increase. This class will be strengthening, empowering, and healing. And also fun!
Flow with me as we move through functional fitness exercises to warm up and then into loaded yoga asana and HIIT protocols, raising our heart rate and strengthening our entire body. This is when we really begin to enter FLOW State. Nothing like wielding a weapon to make you pay attention to the here and now. We end with a yoga cooldown, making sure all the work is integrated into our bodies while not overtaxing our nervous system.
There will also be a somatic focus throughout, encouraging a deep connection to the wisdom of our bodies. Simple, yet powerful.
